Functional Capacity Assessments
Comprehensive assessments to understand support needs and inform NDIS planning and funding decisions.
Learn More
We complete Functional Capacity Assessments (FCA) to understand how a participant’s disability impacts their daily functioning and independence.
These assessments provide a detailed overview of:
- Strengths, abilities, and support needs
- Daily living skills and functional capacity
- Psychosocial factors impacting participation
- Barriers to independence and goal achievement
Where appropriate, we may utilise standardised assessment tools such as WHODAS 2.0, ABAS=3, Vineland-3and LSP-16 to support clinical reasoning and reporting.
Following the assessment, we provide a comprehensive report that includes clear recommendations to support:
- NDIS plan reviews
- Funding requests
- Service planning and goal development
Our reports are written in a clear, evidence-based way to assist participants, families, and the NDIA in understanding support needs and reasonable and necessary supports.
